Three days of live music\, camping\, and nonsense\, all completely free. \nDavefest was created in honour and memory of Dave ‘Barbie’ Lord\, who took his life in 2012. It is a time for getting together to celebrate the lives of other people we’ve lost.\nCamping is free from Thursday to Sunday\, and live music will be on Thursday\, Friday\, and Saturday evenings. All the usual stuff will be there – dogs\, fire\, great food in the pub – if you’ve not been before\, come along and find out.  \nIf you’re an old hand\, bring some brilliant friends this year! \nIf you wonder how our finances work: the event is free\, but if you donate £10 or more cash your get a free wristband. The money pays for sound hire\, skip hire\, wristbands\, etc\, and any left over pays bands’ travel. This year we will invest in card readers\, but the minimum card donation will be £15 to cover bank fees. \nBack by popular demand: THEMED CAMPS! Get some friends\, come up with a theme\, and you can reserve a camping location before you arrive. You can dress up\, decorate your camp\, put on shows or workshops or set riddles or make a universe in a tent. You can visit other camps and set up collaborations. Each camp will get a sign to announce any events.
